How to write a rolled metal request that gets an accurate price

The more complete the request, the fewer questions and the more accurate the first offer. Include the following.

• Grade and standard, for example 12Kh18N10T to GOST 5949-75.
• Section and dimensions: diameter, thickness, wall, sheet size.
• Length: fixed, multiple of fixed, or random.
• Quantity in tonnes or pieces, and whether partial shipments are acceptable.
• Delivery condition: hot-rolled, cold-drawn, heat-treated, strain-hardened.
• Documents: certificate type, such as EN 10204 3.1, and certificate of origin.
• Delivery terms: destination and preferred Incoterms, for example DAP Lviv.
• Deadline: when you need the metal at your warehouse.
